Almajdouie Motors, Changan’s dealer in Saudi Arabia, offered Saudi women a unique opportunity to virtually test drive Changan cars. The initiative follows the Royal Decree which will allow women in the country to drive. The event took place last week at the Family Touring Festival (Kashta) in Dammam. Almajdouie Motors-Changan displayed a number of Changan vehicles at the festival, including the all-new CS75, which were available for women to virtually test drive. Audio, video, and lighting effects from locations around Saudi Arabia replicated the thrill of actually driving the featured streets in real life. Participants were photographed behind the wheel.
Mohammed Ali Almajdouie, CEO of Almajdouie Motors-Changan, praised this unique experience and its high participation rates. He noted that thanks to this innovative and topical activation, more women in Saudi Arabia will now consider Changan as their car brand of choice. He said: "The Saudi automotive sector is entering a new era which represents a historic opportunity to strengthen it. We must do our best to take advantage of this opportunity and launch more initiatives and innovative ideas to ensure the enhancement of the consumer’s trust in Almajdouie Motors."
